Sometimes you just want to have fun.   I have been doing a lot of flowers lately, some on assignment and some for the sheer pleasure of it.   This semi-abstract of a composite, taken at the Bellevue Botanical Garden, was one of the latter.

Typically, I shoot everything in sharp focus.  Sometimes, though, it's liberating to try to aim for the opposite extreme...
